My hearts did have 2 holes, but 1 broke trying to attach jump rings. Ring almost have to be opened straight to attach heart and rings get manfled.
This turned out very pretty but the steps to attach the heart are missing. I attached it the the chain with a jump ring. So it's a dangle. Also I had to improvise the end. I attached the round end of a toggle clasp to the last jump ring.

I was not pleased with with this product. The instructions are not right. When attaching the heart there is only 1 hole at the top of the heart and no hole at the bottom to attach the chain to. I would not buy this product again. I did send a. Email Too Cute Beads but never received response. I have purchased many products from this company and had been pleased with the products. It not this one.
