- Silver chain
- Crystal prism pendant
- Sterling silver rondells
- Bicones
- Crimp beads & crimp ends
- Crimp covers
- Jump rings
- Lobster clasp
- Extension chain
- Head-pin
Tools you’ll need: round-nose pliers, a nipper tool and a crimping tool.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Center your crystal prism pendant on the silver chain.
- On each side of the pendant, string: A sterling silver rondell → bicone → sterling silver rondell.
- On one end of the chain: Insert into a crimp end, then crimp firmly.
- Repeat on the other end.
- Open a jump ring and attach the lobster clasp to one crimp end. Close the jump ring.
- Open the second jump ring and attach the extension chain to the other crimp end. Close the jump ring.
- Add a crimp cover over each crimp end.
- Check length and trim chain if needed.
- For the head-pin: Slide on a bicone, and wrap it into your extension chain.
Tips for Best Results
- Work from the center outward for perfect symmetry.
- Double-check that your crimps are secure before adding the covers.
- If you’re new to jewelry making, we suggest getting some inexpensive jump rings to practice opening and closing a few times.
- Want it longer or shorter? Trim the chain after step 8.
